Lip blush is a semipermanent lip tattoo that gives the lips more definition and a beautiful sheer color when healed. This is perfect for anyone who lacks a natural border, feels they have pale/colorless lips, or just wants a pop of color so that they do not have to put anything on for their daily routine! I use an aquarelle or watercolor technique that deposits tiny pixels into your lip tissue to build up the color while still staying light and airy.
Cost: $450 (Which includes the required touch up at 6-8 weeks. It lasts 18-24 months on average.)
You might not be a candidate if:
- If you have a history of cold sores you must get an antiviral before the appointment to prevent an outbreak post procedure! This is especially important as these breakouts are not only painful, but they will cause poor retention in the area as well.
- People with very dark pigmented lips or dark spots.
- People who have had lip filler in the last 4 weeks. (Lip filler and lip blush are a great combo! We just need to make sure filler is done either 4 weeks before or 4 weeks after lip blush.)
- People who have used Accutane within the last year.
- Prone to keloid scarring.
- People with auto-immune deficiency. (May not heal as well)
- Pregnant.
- People who are on blood thinners or have conditions that may cause you to bleed easily.
- People with prior permanent makeup on their lips-liner or full lip. You MUST send pictures before making an appointment to ensure you are a good candidate for this technique.
